Rob – Manipulative Physiotherapist (MMACP, BSc Hons)
Rob brings nearly three decades of experience in private physiotherapy practice and elite-level sports care. His extensive background includes serving as Head of Medicine at London Scottish RFC and Chief Medical Officer at Guildford Rugby Club for over ten years. He has a particular interest in managing complex cases and working with high-performance athletes.
Before moving fully into private practice, Rob was an NHS clinical specialist focusing on lower limb conditions and later consulted on complex orthopaedic cases. He earned his BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from King’s College London in 1995, followed by a master’s-level qualification in Manipulative Physiotherapy from Brighton University in 2004, as part of the MMACP (Musculoskeletal Association of Chartered Physiotherapists).
Rob combines hands-on manual therapy with tailored rehabilitation plans to help patients achieve optimal results. He is also trained in acupuncture, which he often uses as an effective complementary treatment.
Outside of clinic hours, Rob stays active through gym workouts, road cycling, and weekly squash matches. A former triathlete and a recent convert to skiing, he also enjoys a social pint with friends. He’s a proud dad to three young adults.
