Using your health insurance
We accept patients using a range of private health insurance plans. Below is a quick guide to claiming with the most common providers. If you’re unsure whether your plan covers chiropractic, contact your insurer before booking.
AXA Health
Reimbursement Referral may be required
To claim:
Log into your AXA member portal, go to “Make a claim” and upload your receipt. You can also download a claim form and email it in.
You'll need:
Receipt showing provider name, date, cost and treatment type ¡ Chiropractor’s details and registration number ¡ Referral letter if your policy requires one.
Aviva
Pre-authorisation requiredGP referral usually required
Important:
Contact Aviva before booking your appointment to confirm cover and avoid unexpected costs.
To claim:
Submit online via your Aviva account, or call 0800 068 3827.
You'll need:
Receipt ¡ Chiropractor’s details ¡ GP referral ¡ Your membership number.
Vitality
Pre-authorisation required Referral required
Important:
Vitality requires approval before treatment. The typical process is: referral â approval â treatment â claim.
To claim:
Use the Vitality Care Hub (online portal), or call 0345 602 3523.
You'll need:
Receipt ¡ Chiropractor’s name, clinic and registration number ¡ Membership number ¡ Referral.
WPA
Pre-authorisation required Claims within 6 months
Important:
Contact WPA before treatment to receive an authorisation code. Chiropractic may be subject to an annual limit or session cap.
To claim:
Use the WPA app or online portal.
You'll need:
Detailed receipt ¡ Chiropractor’s name and registration number ¡ Membership number ¡ Referral if required.
Medicash
Pay first, claim back Partial reimbursement
How it works:
Pay for your treatment, then submit your receipt to claim back a portion (typically around 50%, up to your annual plan limit).
To claim:
Submit via the Medicash app â fastest option â or online.
You'll need:
Receipt showing practitioner name and qualifications, patient name, date, treatment details and cost.
