Anthony Adesanmi

Chartered Physiotherapist BSc (Hons) MCSP MHCPC

Anthony began his career in Physiotherapy after graduating from the University of Southampton in 2003. He gained early recognition while working at St Thomas’ Hospital in London, where he built a strong reputation among many of the city’s leading consultants and healthcare professionals. His journey has since included roles across private practices, sports clubs, and schools—giving him diverse experience in both clinical and sporting environments.

With a clinical focus on manual therapy, acupuncture, spinal and lower limb rehabilitation, Anthony brings a well-rounded and personalised approach to patient care. His goal is always to deliver targeted, evidence-based treatment that helps clients recover efficiently while gaining a clear understanding of their condition. He is currently furthering his expertise through a Master’s in Advanced Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.

Anthony has a wealth of experience helping patients overcome back and neck pain—whether it’s a recent strain or a long-term, complex issue. His approach goes beyond temporary relief, with an emphasis on sustainable recovery through thoughtful advice, hands-on care, and custom exercise planning. He encourages long-term habits that support ongoing health and mobility.

His sporting expertise spans all levels—from enthusiastic amateurs to elite athletes. He has treated individuals involved in rugby, running, hockey, dance, water polo, netball, skiing, and more. His special interest in running biomechanics has led him to run movement assessment and video analysis clinics, creating tailored prehabilitation programs to improve performance and reduce injury risk. He particularly enjoys working with hip, knee, and ankle injuries, supporting athletes in returning to sport safely and confidently.

Beyond the clinic: When he’s not in the treatment room, Anthony captains a local Sunday league football team and keeps active through regular running. He also enjoys immersing himself in the arts—whether that’s live music, spoken word, or theatre performances.
